About James



Something about the small details of the world, such as a lone bench or a simple hallway, has always captivated me. It was something that I could always perceive and get lost in that own world of mine that I convey in my work.

I'm not looking to try and change the world or make any statements. What I do is therapeutic for me and gives me a place to fall back on when the whole world feels like it's crashing down on me.

For now, I try to do what I love, and you can witness the world how I envision it. I hope these little things left you as impacted and enamored as they did me.

Artist Statement



Every day, I see small, unnoticed, and extraordinary moments from a unique perspective that contain the isolation of the world around me. Those moments are what captivate me to strive for what I create. I carry my equipment with me everywhere, and every day, waiting for that moment, I connect with that beautiful and intriguing world. My work represents seclusion and peace to me. I take those emotions and find a world to apply them inside the frame of what I create.
